Kaleidoscope Film Distribution is an established International sales company specialising in commercial feature films and branded documentaries (ie branded docs promote a company, cause, or an individual - eg the Bekham Doc, the White Helmets Doc, or the film about the Air Trainer from Nike)

They are looking for projects in development at all budget levels with at least 50% of the finance in place and attachments that are credible at the film's budget level.

  • They can come on board as sales & distribution, EP and part-financier

  • They can bring between 15% - 25% International advance (pre-sale)

  • They can partner with debt financiers that SMASH is working with (HH5, Film Shed)

  • They can bring some development finance for a script polish

  • They will not consider a script-only package unless based on existing IP (eg Street Cat Named Bob)

  • They need a producer and team behind the writer

  • Looking for:

    • A well-written script & package

    • Budget range from micro/low (genre only if low) to £10M (commercial film with a team that has traction)
