They are particularly drawn to films that can spark conversation as well as entertain.
TV - ideally completed series or fully financed.

Who can apply

Filmmakers and producers with feature projects at financing stage.

Teams with key elements already in place, including 50% finance.
First-time directors may be considered case by case if they have a strong short film track record and the project is not dependent on a sales advance or minimum guarantee.

What you need to include in your SMASH Pitch

Your SMASH Snapshot must include at minimum:

Logline
Format; Genre; Setting; Runtime
Brief Biog of key creatives
Synopsis with all major plot points — set up; inciting incident; rising conflict; mid story twist; crisis; climax and resolution.
Visual references (poster/concept art optional)
Budget
Finance Plan
Cast ideas (that would work with your budget)
Comparables (recent TV or Film at your budget level that capture a similar feeling or energy)
